Q You are Dutch, but your website is in English. Why?

Ja ik ben Nederlands en vind het geweldig dat ik hier lokaal mijn liefde voor Australische opaal en andere edelstenen kan delen. Toch is mijn website in het Engels omdat ik graag een breed internationaal publiek wil bereiken. 

Yes I am Dutch, and I think it's great that I can offer my gemstones and Australian opal locally to people in the Netherlands. Still, my choice is to offer my products to an international audience in the EU and beyond.

Q: What types of gemstones do you sell?

A: It depends on the rocks and minerals I select to work with in my Lapidary station. At the moment, my interest lies with precious opal. So in my webshop you will mostly find Australian Opals. Some Ethiopian Opals, Mexican Opals and other opals at times.

 

Q. How do you present your products in an accurate and natural way?

A. By using a professional camera and proper LED lighting, I am able to take good care of presenting my precious opal stones in the webshop by displaying a natural and accurate looking product. However, the presentation of opal in a digital medium can always differ from the product in real life. Especially with opal, since it reflect and deflects light.

 Q. How does Edelstones set prices for its gemstones and opal?

A. We strive to provide fair pricing based on the important aspects of gemstones and opal like brightness, body-tone, source location, cut and polish, size etc.

We are constantly adjusting our prices to reflect retail and wholesale pricing. We have a wide range of opals and gemstones from all around the world and we are always on hand to answer any questions you may have.  Q: Do you offer shipping?

A: Yes, we offer worldwide shipping at an additional cost.

Q: How long does it take for an order to be processed?

A: Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

A: We accept iDEAL, PayPal , Shop Pay, Google Pay payments. Please contact us if you prefer a different method of payment.
